founded Tangerine Dream in 1967 and started to experiment with sequencers and synthesizers, exploring and innovating with sound. By doing this he became one of the foremost groundbreakers in the new genre of electronic music.
With his visionary work, both as a solo artist and as the founding member and head of Tangerine Dream, he is recognized as one of the pioneers of electronic music.
